The 25-member third executive committee (2025-26) of Titumir College IT Society (TCITS), an organization formed with the aim of 'Make Your IT Career' to advance the students of the government Titumir College in the advancement of information technology over time, has been announced. Md. Maydul Islam, a student in the Mathematics Department, has been appointed president.
On Monday, May 12, the committee announcement and transfer of responsibility, and the farewell reception of the second executive committee were held in the Political Science Department of the college. The club's advisor, Professor Dr. Md. Alfaz Uddin, was present as a guest. Former General Secretary Shahriar Shakil and former Vice President Rokonuzzaman. The program was presided over by the founder of the club and the outgoing committee president, Arif Hossain Rajon.
In this regard, President Md. Maydul Islam said, "To meet the challenges of the 21st century, we started the club's activities online during the Corona period to make the students of Titumir College proficient in IT. I have been with the IT Society since the beginning. Before that, I was in various positions in the club, and now I have received new responsibilities. Arif Hossain Rajon, the organization's founder and former president, is the chairman of the executive committee, and Sohrab Hassan Akash, a student in the chemistry department, is the general secretary.
The organization's advisors are the head of the Islamic History and Culture Department, Professor Dr. Alfaz Uddin, and the moderator is Associate Professor Syed Abdullah Omar Nasif, from the Botany Department.
